  THE FATHER OF VEDIC MATHEMATICS – SWAMI SHRI BHARTI KRISHNA TIRTHAJI       Venkataraman Shastri     was born on 14 March 1884 to an orthodox  Tamil   Brahmin  family. His childhood name was vekatraman His father was P. Narasimha Shastri, originally a  tehsildar  at  Tirunelveli , in  Madras Presidency , who later became the Deputy Collector of the Presidency. He was born in a small village named “Tinnievelly” of Tamil Nadu.  At the age of twenty years he completed his post graduation in six different subjects like Mathematics, Science, History, Philosophy, English and Sanskrit from the Bombay centre of American college of Science Rochester; New York. He was a greatest orator of Sanskrit and awarded the title of “SARASWATI” for his all round proficiency in Sanskrit by the Sanskrit association of Madras in July 1899. In 1902 he won the highest place in the graduation B.A. examination. After a brilliant university career he became a lecturer in Mathematics and Science

  THE MYSTERIOUS LORD GANESH TEMPLE   Lord Ganesh - Hindu god of beginnings, who is traditionally worshipped before any major enterprise. There are a number of Ganesha temples all over India, but imagine a small, mysterious tope located atop a hill in the middle of a dense forest. Such a temple exists in reality on a  mountain  called dholkal in Dantewada district, about 350 km from  Raipur  in Chhattisgarh. It is located at a height of 3000 ft from sea level, and had remained hidden for centuries until it was rediscovered by an archaeologist in 2012! This place was first discovered by an English Gaelist Krukshank in 1934. After that all forgot about this idol but in 2012, two journalists Bapi Rai and Hemant Kashyap rediscovered it during their trek. According to mythological beliefs associated with this temple, and as per the locals’ belief there was a war between Lord Ganesha and Parashurama on this hill. DASHAVATARA

    DASHAVATARA       Vishnu  is one of the members in the trimurti in Hinduism.  Vishnu  is the preserver god, which means he protects the universe from being destroyed and keeps it going, according to this religion, and he has come to earth in ten forms (called avatars) so far. The concept of the avatar (or incarnation) within Hinduism is most often associated with Vishnu.  The avatars of Vishnu descend to empower the good and to destroy evil, thereby restoring  Dharma  and relieving the burden of the Earth. An oft-quoted passage from the  Bhagavad Gita  describes the typical role of an avatar of Vishnu- Whenever righteousness wanes and unrighteousness increases I send myself forth. For the protection of the good and for the destruction of evil, and for the establishment of righteousness, I come into being age after age. —   Bhagavad Gita     The Dashavatara is the ten primary avataras of Bhagwan Vishnu, the god of preservation which has Rigvedic origins.

  THE DIVINE ARCHITECT OF THE UNIVERSE – LORD VISHVAKARMA.   Vishvakarma is regarded as the God of ‘creation’ in Hindu mythology. It is believed that he is the ultimate creator. He is the divine architect of the universe. He has created many palaces for Gods in all four yugas. The term Visvakarma was originally used as an epithet for any supreme god and as an attribute of  Indra  and the  Sun . The name Visvakarma occurs five times in the tenth book of the Rigveda. Lord Vishvakarma is described as the god of carpenters, goldsmiths, blacksmiths, masons and all those people who are skilled in crafts. Vishvakarma was related to the sun god  Surya  through his daughter  Samjna . According to the legend, when Samjna left her house due to Surya's energy, Vishvakarma reduced the energy and created various other weapons using it. That’s the reason even Bhagavan bows to motherhood. Mothers are one of the most beautiful and precious creation of God. Being a Mother is one of the most important roles a women play. Bṛihaspati – Guru of all Devas.

  B ṛ i haspati – Guru of all Devas.   Brihaspati  is an Indian name, and refers to different mythical figures depending on the age of the text. In ancient Hindu literature Brihaspati is a Vedic era sage who counsels the gods, while in some medieval texts the word refers to the largest planet of the solar system, Jupiter. Additionally, Jupiter or Brihaspati is the biggest/largest planet in the solar system. It is also considered one of the most influential and auspicious planets in the horoscope. It represents the “Sattvaguna”. Brihaspati rules over North East direction B rihas pati appears in the  Rigveda  (pre-1000 BCE). He is described as a sage born from the first great light, the one who drove away darkness, is bright and pure, and carries a special bow whose string is  Rta  or "cosmic order".  His knowledge is deep and he is considered  Guru  (teacher) by all the  Devas .
